The Night Before:

• Avoid alcohol
• Arrange your ride home (required)

The Morning Of:

• Eat a light meal 2+ hours before
• Wear comfortable clothing

Step 1: Arrival and Check-In

When you arrive at our Lilburn office:

• Check in at the front desk
• Complete any remaining paperwork
• We'll verify your ride home is arranged

Step 2: Pre-Treatment Assessment

Our trained staff will:

• Check your blood pressure
• Ask how you're feeling
• Review any concerns

Step 3: Treatment Room

You'll be escorted to a private, comfortable room with:

• A reclining chair
• Dim, calming lighting
• Blanket and pillow available

Step 4: Self-Administration

• You'll receive the Spravato nasal spray device
• A staff member guides you through each spray

Step 5: Monitoring Period (2 hours)

This is the main part of your visit at Next Step Psychiatry:

• Side effects typically peak in first 30-40 minutes
• Staff nearby if you need anything

After You Leave
